Can I sell any maternity clothes item?
Yes. You can sell all maternity clothes at any sale. Sweaters at the Spring/Summer sale - shorts at the Fall/Winter sale. We welcome it all - because we know many shoppers are shopping ahead.
What about t-shirts? Can I sell short-sleeved t-shirts in the Fall/Winter sale? What about long-sleeved t-shirts at the Spring/Summer Sale?
Yes! We will accept short-sleeved and long-sleeved t-shirts at any sale.
About the 5 pairs of shoes limit: do snow boots or fuzzy bedroom slippers count as shoes?
No. We also won't count water shoes, ballet slippers, cleats or rain boots as shoes either. Think about what your child might wear in school, during school. THAT is what we'll consider shoes!
I consigned some items. Do I have to come pick up my check?
No. We want to give those people who want to get their checks immediately an opportunity to pick up their checks, but any checks remaining will be mailed out.
In the past, the first 40 consignors got to shop before all the other consignors. Is that still the case?
No. There is no longer any "perk" to the first 40 people who drop off items on Sunday. Please make a drop-off appointment that fits best into YOUR OWN schedule.
In the past, we have allowed the first 40 people who drop off items to be the first 40 shoppers at the Sellers' Sale, but this is no longer the case. The Sellers' Sale will be first come, first served based on your arrival time that Thursday night. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. to the first 100 people in line and people will continue to be let in as other shoppers leave. Due to safety concerns and fire regulations, we cannot have more than 100 shoppers at one time in the room. If you are truly worried about what time you shop, consider volunteering at least 6 hours at the sale! This way, you will be allowed to shop the Helpers' Sale on Wednesday!
I know someone who doesn't have internet access. How is s/he supposed to sign-up for a drop off time or register info or sign up to volunteer or get directions or ask a question or...?
E-mail us (fumckidsclosetsale@yahoo.com) his/her phone number and we'll be happy to get in touch! The person you know could also call the church office (270-886-0277) and s/he will be directed to the right person.
